Corey Foreman

Corey Foreman is a husband, veteran, small business owner, and community advocate working to build a stronger future for Georgia’s 1st District.

Originally from Maryland, Corey now calls Coastal Georgia home. His wife, Morgan, grew up here, and together they’ve built a life rooted in service to their community and to each other. Corey is a U.S. Army veteran whose primary role was infantry, but he also served in a public affairs capacity, with his writing published on official military websites like DVIDS and Army.mil. Having lived in the barracks at Fort Stewart, he understands the day-to-day realities of service members and the need for better support during and after military life.

Now a small business owner based in Bryan County, Corey sees firsthand the challenges working families face, from infrastructure failures to rising costs and stagnant wages. He’s raised concerns about smarter zoning in places like Garden City, has spoken up about transparency issues in Bryan County, and has used public forums to question major developments like Hyundai’s water permitting. He’s also addressed housing affordability and the need to protect communities from unchecked overdevelopment.

Corey is completing his degree in economics to sharpen the policy tools needed to fight for better outcomes across the region, from healthcare and infrastructure to education and economic development. His studies are rooted in the belief that data should drive decisions and that policy must work for everyday Georgians, not just the powerful.

Corey currently serves as Chair of the Bryan County Democratic Committee, where he helps organize local engagement and advocate for stronger representation. Both Corey and Morgan are members of the NAACP and stay actively involved in local service, from food drives and back-to-school giveaways to volunteering with Meals on Wheels, Animal Control, the 200 Club of Savannah, and more.

He believes real leadership means listening first, speaking up when it counts, and working every day to make government serve the people.
